Meriann Zuk Plamondon has joined Partnervest Financial Group as Partner and Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the overall financial and tax functions of Partnervest Financial Group and its affiliated companies and assists with the Advanced Advisor Programs.


Prior to joining Partnervest, Ms. Plamondon was the owner of Common Sense Financial Solutions, a comprehensive financial planning, tax and business consulting firm. She has 16 years of experience in the financial arena, with experience in telecommunications, entertainment and high-technology industries. She was a principal with the consulting group of Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting firms in the world. As a senior member of the Financial and Cost Management group, she was a known subject matter expert in Entertainment and Media industries. She assisted many Fortune 500 firms in solving complex business problems and designing financial systems and processes. She has also held financial management positions with Sony Music (Canada) and Northern Telecom Ltd.


Ms. Plamondon holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University at Kingston (Canada), majoring in finance and accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois), a Chartered Accountant, and holds a certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA. She is a member of the AICPA and California Society of CPA’s. She also holds a degree in Piano performance from the University of Western Ontario. Ms. Plamondon is a life and health insurance agent, and a Registered Investment Advisor.
