Dorothy Gibbens was named Director of Compliance and Broker-Dealer Operations for Partnervest Financial Group LLC and all of their subsidiary companies. She has been with Partnervest since May 2003 as a compliance officer.

Mrs. Gibbens has 17 years experience in the financial service industry specializing first in compliance and then aiding in the creation of financial service platforms for successful companies. Mrs. Gibbens oversees the day-to-day compliance of Partnervest Securities Inc. Broker-Dealer Operations. She also provides consulting services for Partnervest Financial Group's outsource compliance platform.

Prior to joining Partnervest, she was the Operations manager for Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, an investment-banking firm Headquartered in New York. DLJ was the former owner of Pershing & Company. Mrs. Gibbens opened the Los Angeles office, and oversaw the operations of that branch as it grew to 35 advisors. She then left to over see the operations of the 50-advisor office in San Francisco. She was with DLJ for 10 years, when she left to help American Century build their broker dealer platform.

Dorothy is a Registered Options Principal, a General Securities Principal and Representative, and General Securities Sales Supervisor. She graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology.
